How to play

Master the map.

Flag Quiz

A flag is shown. In multiple-choice mode pick the correct country; in type mode, type its name — minor typos and either English or German names are accepted. On hard, look-alike flags appear as decoys. With the optional timer on, faster answers earn bonus points.

Geo Expedition

Choose a regional journey and complete six short checkpoints. Pick branches, earn up to three stars per stage and protect your three shared energy points. Your journey is saved safely between checkpoints; the last checkpoint is a harder boss challenge.

Map Jigsaw

Build every real land neighbor around the glowing anchor country. Select a silhouette, then tap or drag it roughly to the correct compass side. There are no slots or hidden map clues. Easy and medium show names; hard hides them until placed. A broad direction hint unlocks after two misses.

Geo Connections

Start from one country and follow the relationship shown: land border, shared official language, shared currency or the same subregion. Exactly one visible country continues the chain. Three mistakes end the expedition.

Capitals & Cities

A country is shown. Choose or type its capital — or switch to Cities mode to name a major city instead. With the optional timer on, faster answers earn bonus points.

Outline Quiz

Only the country's silhouette is shown — no flag, no name. Identify it by its shape.

Country Trivia

You start with one trivia fact about a country and can reveal up to four. Guess the country — the fewer facts you reveal, the more points you score.

Higher or Lower

Two countries are compared by a stat — population, area, density, GDP or number of neighbours. Guess whether the second is higher or lower than the first. Keep the streak alive!

Find on Map

You're given a country name. Tap it on the world map. Get it right and its flag stays pinned so you can track your progress. You can focus on a single continent or the whole world, and pinch or scroll to zoom in for tiny nations.

Draw the Outline

A country is named. Draw its outline with your finger or mouse in one stroke. We score how closely your shape overlaps the real borders.

Border Chain

Starting from one country, name as many of its land neighbours as you can — each correct answer extends the chain. Switch on the optional timer for extra pressure.

Geo Grid

Each cell combines its row clue and column clue. Select a cell, search the full country atlas and submit one country that matches both. Countries cannot be reused. Fill all nine cells to solve the board; wrong entries cost a life outside Practice mode. The seed in the URL recreates the same board.

Geo Minesweeper

Countries form a network using their real land borders. Revealed safe countries show how many connected neighbours have the hidden property. Switch explicitly between Reveal and Mark, place exactly the available number of marks, then check them. A mine reveal or incorrect check costs one life. Easy shows the exact property, Medium shows only its family, and Hard keeps it classified until the end. Only correctly solved mine countries enter your Geo-Dex.

Rank It

Several countries are shown. Tap them in order from highest to lowest for the given stat (population, area, density, GDP or neighbours). You score for every country you place in the right spot.

Scripts & Money

A clue is shown — a currency, or a word in a country's native script. Pick the matching country. The four options never share the clue, so there's exactly one right answer.

Pin the Place

A place is named. Tap where you think it is on the map. The closer your pin, the more points — scored by distance in kilometres. Pinch or scroll to zoom in for accuracy.

Land Route

You get a start and a destination country — only those two are shown. Name (or pick) a country that borders where you are and lies on the way; each correct step appears on the map until you arrive.

Rivers & Lakes

A river or lake is highlighted on the map. Choose or type which one it is.

Who Am I?

Clues about a mystery country are revealed one at a time — continent, coastline, language, currency, neighbours and more. Guess who it is (choice or typing); the fewer clues you reveal, the more points you score.

Trace the River

A river is named and the map zooms to its region. Draw its course with your finger or mouse; you're scored on how closely your line follows the real river.

Where's That From?

An animal, dish or symbol is shown. Pick or type the country it's most associated with.

Name All

Each round shows a theme, like “Countries in South America” or “The 10 largest countries”. Name every country that fits — on easy and medium you tap them from a list, on hard you type them all. Reveal the rest whenever you're stuck.

Mountains & Volcanoes

A pin marks a famous mountain or volcano on the world map. Choose or type its name. Difficulty adds more obscure peaks.

Color the Flag

A blank flag is shown. In Swatch mode pick the correct colour for each highlighted area from four options (you have three lives). In Pro mode, match the exact shade with a colour picker — the closer you get, the more points. Stripes, crosses and simple symbols (like stars) are all fillable areas; flags with intricate crests are left out.

Who Wants to Be a Geo-Nerd?

Answer geography questions that get harder and more obscure each round, with four options each. Three wrong answers and the game is over — how far can you climb?
